21 days until Halloween!! It's sure been a busy 6 weeks but with lots of help we have been harvesting, packing, and shipping our pumpkins since before labor day. We still have regular orange pumpkins available in wholesale quantities (by the bin) if anyone needs any.

200 years ago in September of 1824 Peter Carlton purchased 150 acres from Benjamin Blair for $1000 ($6.67/ac) on Pioneer Trl. in Mantua. Peter then sold Benjamin a similar size parcel on Mantua Center Rd. for the same sum. A land swap of sorts. 7 generations later that same parcel is still the proud home to Carlton Farm!! Unfortunately, there are no original buildings still standing but the closest is our bank barn from 1897.
