1:33 A friend posted about ADHD and I remember that I was about to start the washer (right after I RE-Started the dryer), then I saw a few dishes in the sink that needed to be washed, so I took care of that. Hmm. That stove could use a good cleaning. I haven't removed the grates in a while. Oh, look. Hubby could use a hand removing the theater seating we are replacing. I need to go outside and get the broom and dustpan so I can clean up after the seats were removed. Wait-what's that on my FB feed? It's a video I started 30 minutes ago about weighing down fruit tree branches to get more lateral branches which in turn will give more fruit. (We have 17 orchard plants waiting to be planted very soon. I wonder when my plant circles from Temu will get here?) Finish video and keep scrolling, come across this video. Oh, ya. I never did start the washer. Or get the broom and dustpan. Guess I'll attempt to do both of those now. TTYL (lol - this is 100% true and my current situation. Wait, what's that email that just popped up on my phone? Dollar General is having a sale??!!) 🤷♀️😆🤦♀️
2:23 Update: Well, I finally went and got the broom and dustpan. Set them next to the door and decided to go check on the chicks in the brooder. Yep. It's time to move them and their Mama to the Hoop Coop. Before I can do that, I need to move Einstein and Phyllis Diller, our huge Polish crested, to the chicken garden. Oh, ya. I forgot that Pete has a dozen eggs ready for us. I'm hungry. Keithie must be. I'll just grab the eggs on my way to the Chicken Garden. See Pete. Have a convo about moving birds around. He offers to help, which is good, because Keith is working. Visit to Chicken Garden. Yep. It's time to bring the PCs. And the kiddie pool needs a good scrubbing (thank you, Pete). Back to the brooder, I fill a quart container with black soldier fly larva and my homemade herb blend and grab the net. We head to the Hoop Coop and after sprinkling treats, I easily net Einstein. Pete grabs him from behind (still in the net) and we walk in tandem to the Chicken Garden. A fight between Sly and Einstein immediately ensues. Chickens gotta chicken. Next for Phyllis. Quick and easy. We got this down! Oh, look. Einstein found the nesting box. That's a good place to hide. Funny, though, cuz he’s a boy chicken. But wait, is that our first blue egg! Sorry Eins! I gotta show this to Keithie! Oh, look! 4 more eggs for the taking! Breakfast, anyone? Back to the brooder, Pete opens it while I grab some Chick Grower to sprinkle under the pallet for the babies. I sn**ch up Mama Suzie and put her in Pete's arms. Her beautiful speckled boy is next. Then the white male. Next I play chase with the remaining little white female for about 30 seconds before finally cornering her between the water dish, the wall and both of my hands. Whew. I'm out of breath. Over to the Hoop Coop we go, where Sparkie's Unnamed Brother immediately takes one of the babies in his beak. I start whacking S.U.B in the head with the food scoop then finally drop it, grab the bird, yell at Pete to open the door, and throw his sorry into The Real World, where he immediately starts circling the Hoop Coop looking for a way to get back in. Next, Mama Susie turns to George Henry Thomas Chad IV aka Tom and kicks the living s**t out of him, with daddy, Tim the Tough Guy, backing her up. Tom's brother, “Hellooo, Jerry” (IYKYK), decides that his brother is plain stupid and this wasn't his fight. Good deal. All is well in KNL Farms LLC's Chicken World. Back to the MH. I need to get back to work. Oh, look. There's the broom and the dustpan. I FINALLY sweep. Wash my hands. I'm starving. I'll make some eggs. A new post flashes across my screen, just let me read that real quick. 70 minutes later. Why am I so hungry? And I still haven't started the darn washer!!!
