And just like that, the 2026 season is under way! These Italian ranunculous corms will take root in the basement to eventually be tucked into the high tunnel, and in May will produce the most glorious spring blooms!

The first weekend in January, what a treat.

We’re open today 9 am - 7 pm, and will be hosting Pop Up Bake Shop from 11 am - 2 pm. Come grab fresh made sourdough bread, muffins, cookies, and fresh lemon donuts, paired with a hot cup of coffee!

Fall on farm... fall is as fall does. The days rush by like the wind, pulling the leaves and pulling our sleeves. Getting it all done is a nice idea, power is running out.
I feel grateful for all that has come. The bittersweet endings, the renewal and reflection. Rewinding, wondering how.
Come on, eat yer greens! (Or roots). It's like never before, the hands that harvest are cold. ♥️

Today was our final farmers market of the season!
It's bittersweet when the end comes. In reflection I have collected these photos ♥️
As I look back I remember we've been doing this for a while! The days have been so long for so long. The cold mornings of springtime have now become fall mornings. It's dark at 7pm again and our bodies and spirits are tired. Erica and Sierra, this year's amazing crew members, are finishing out this week and departing.
Nevertheless the beauty abounds. The bounty has a new color to it and we love the taste of the comforting foods that welcome wintertime, rest time.
I am so grateful to all of our customers, our supporters. We love sharing good food with you, seeing you, chatting with you, and being your source for nutrition and delightful flavor.
There is nothing quite like eating local. There is nothing more plain and simple and sweet than knowing who grew your food and where it came from.
I'm very honored to have spent another season growing food for my community.

I don't take a lot of photos. It's true..
but that doesn't mean all day every day isn't photogenic.
The end of July and (omg) August has been so abundant. Despite loss of fall cabbage, so many tomatoes eaten by hornworms, powdery mildew spreading, heat shriveling up baby plants etc etc etc... the list of positives is much greater!
This seasons abundance is so much richer in good company. Moments with my girlfriend, coworkers, my mom, my favorite doggie, sweet kitties..... the list goes on.. and I am so lucky for that.
Farming is such a whirlwind of go go go and .. suddenly August is almost over. That's ok, life is full of surprises and so is this! I posted for you!
