Just a reminder to stop by Archie's Iowa Rockwell Tavern tomorrow (Sun) for the neighborhood pop up market! Someone will be grilling too! Lots of vendors, local art and artists! Woohoo! 🤠🤘🍎🫑From 3 to 7

But if you didn't.... here's what you missed:
This year was too rainy for a good sized melon crop, but what made it through was amazing!!

Remember! Pop up tomorrow (Thurs) at Green Eye! Lots of goods and goodies plus a few surprises....have a cocktail or two and catch up and take home some delicious veggies , fruit (apples and pears and melons) and eggs(short supply bc of the weather...the Ladies hate weather changes!)

Granted, I am biased (bc I am eating my own) but dang it- baked potatoes are awesome. I am half Irish/half German, so it's in my blood,but jimminy xmas! These are good!
So simple, pepper, salt, sour cream and lots of butter. Normally I add chives too(and I even grew a bunch this year!!) but I forgot to grab any before it got dark...and after working all day today - am wet and tired- so I forgot. Sue me 😅😅😅 D'oh!!
But nothing better than finishing up night chores, pulling off wet work clothes and climbing into bed....with a lovely hot potato! (Sorry Jenine!)

Good luck to the neighbors, especially the ones to the north of me and my fellow agrarians. Heard it was a lot worse to the north of us (hail, winds, (tornadoes?) ) here was just windy and a 13° drop in less than a hour, lightning, and torrential rains!
Enjoy this short video of it approaching. This would be a lot more entertaining if I wasn't a partner in the ownership of this farm 😅😅😅😬😬😬
At least there aren't (major) crops peeking up yet!!!
