Up for discussion is our flock of Isabella Leghorns to make room for other breeds next year. They’re beautiful birds and a rare variety of leghorns, so they’re not cheep 🐥. We have 8 hens and 2 roosters. 7 hens just turned one years old and 1 hen is 2 years old. One rooster is one years old and the other is 2 years old. We get about 4-5 white eggs per day from the hens. Our first chicks of the season are set to hatch in a week and will be ready to go to new homes around 3/14. Quantity will depend on how many make it into lock down. All chicks will be offered straight run. We’ll have:

French Black Copper Marans
Moss Eggers (backcrossed w/ FBCM)
Multi-Gen Olive Eggers
F1 Olive Eggers
Easter Eggers (covered by Lavender Ameraucana Roos)

I designed and my husband built this little chicken coop that we call the “barn coop”. I think it’s the cutest chicken coop!
