I’m just a real girl living in the real world! There is nothing like sharing a smile with someone else.

Found this video today in my memories and I love my tights with sneakers combo, the little dance, and the kind words. Everything feels so perfect now I forget myself that’s not how it is…and it’s better that way!

Today I’m making a new favorite cookie, Ube Cookies&Cream. I swear it tastes just like purple velvet. 😋 💜

Pick up is up open today. Come check out my blooming daffodils and grab a cookie for the weekend. Or just say hi.

Hello Cookie Nomsters! 👋 🍪

It’s been a busy spring with lots of school for myself! I am eager to get creative again in the kitchen. There was no market today but I did get a little taste of baking this week.

Baked this week was -
🌟 Eat Me! - Red Velvet Pistachio
🌟 Matcha Lemon Blush - A sweet and tart lemon raspberry cookie featuring matcha
🌟 Fudged Up - Soft. Rich. Chocolate.

I also got to play with some chalk art, admire my lavender seed paper, and of course spend a bunch of time with family and focusing on my education. Between bike rides and human biology there hasn’t been much time for Oma’s, but what time I am getting to find has been so far been wonderful.

No market this week but fingers crossed I’ll see y’all Saturday the 18th at the Rochester Farmer’s Market. I saw a few familiar faces when I got to visit in March and it’s just such a nice reminder of the community we have. Would you believe we have been at the market now going on four years! 🤯

Luke 10:25-37

When Jesus was asked when loving my neighbor who is my neighbor?

Jesus replied that we do not ask who are neighbor is but how can love them.

Where were you born? How did you get here? Have you committed a crime? Who are you?

The Samaritan did not ask any of these questions of the injured person before they tended theirs wounds, nourished them, and sheltered them.

The government and church did nothing. It’s up to you. It’s up to us to show all of the love we to our neighbors. All of our neighbors.

Today Oma’s Cookies is closed in solidarity with the humans being kidnapped and disappeared. We are closed today because we do not have to live in fear that I will be ripped from my business.

The Oma, my mom, is the one who gifted me my first Hobart line Kitchenaid TEN years ago. With dough still left from the original owner.

Now I’m up to three Hobart lines and two newer models.

But the OG will always be my Bae.

Sick day today but I will be back tomorrow with good cookies!

Today we celebrate what the future has to hold!

Today Oma’s Cookies is closed to celebrate our number one cookie fan and MVP employee. He had a chocolate chip cookie and moved in. 😘

2025 was a year about learning.

Learning how to enjoy.
Learning how to connect.
Learning how to experience.

I learned ways to spend more time creating unique flavors that tell your story.
I learned to find more ways to be involved with my community.
I learned that I refuse to quit my dreams.

And I learned I could not do this without you. Most all of my inspiration and drive comes from being able to make something a little sweet and bring a little joy to your week. Hearing your stories and your own favorites bring extra life and flavor to the cookies. ✨ 🍪 💕
