It's hard to believe Nationals was almost a month ago already! We had a great time attending our very first National JABGA/ABGA National Show in Grand Island, NE. We are so proud of how our kids showed and how the goats placed especially since they were all bred and raised by us!

Both Camden and Ali participated in the youth contests: Public Speaking, Sales Talk, Skillathon, Goat Judging, Fitting Contest. Ali ended up placing 7th overall in Skillathon out of all Intermediates!

Last weekend we attended the Stateline Border Battle in Dubuque. The kids did amazing! And Cora made her judging debut getting to help Dakota Ash judge one of the classes.

Have a Blessed Easter ✝️

Faith isn’t just always something you learn on Sundays…
it’s something you live out in the quiet of the barn, day in and day out.

in the early mornings when no one else is watching…
when you’re tired, worn down, and still show up anyway.

It’s in the quiet prayers whispered over a gate,
hands resting on an animal,
asking for strength, peace, and just a little bit of favor.

It’s in the waiting…
the long days, the uncertain outcomes,
the moments where you’ve done everything you can;
and all that’s left is to trust Him with the rest.

Because stock show life will humble you real quick.

You can put in the work,
do everything “right,”
and still not get the results you hoped for.

And that’s where faith has to step in.

Faith that there’s purpose in the process.
Faith that even in the disappointment… He’s still working.

Easter is the reminder of all of that.

Of sacrifice.
Of surrender.
Of trusting God even when the outcome doesn’t look the way you hoped.

And most of all… resurrection.

Because just like that empty tomb…
this life teaches you that setbacks aren’t the end.

There’s always another morning.
Another chance.
Another reason to keep going.

So whether you’re dressed up for church
or standing in a barn aisle today…

Just know, He meets you right where you are.

Even in the shavings.
Even in the chaos.
Even in the waiting.

He is risen…
and in this life, so is your faith every single time you choose to keep showing up. 🤍

Cruella is still a green one, but we truly believe that with some more time on feed, she has a lot of potential. She is big b***d and big footed, with the kind of frame that she can grow right into. The track record behind this doe speaks for itself. Cruella has two paternal half sisters with 25 and 88 show points, and we believe she has the ability to follow right in their footsteps. On the maternal side, her dam’s twin sister earned 89 show points and multiple Grand Champion titles as a yearling before going on to become a proven producer. If you study her pedigree, you’ll also notice that both of her grandsires come from the Regel Boer Goats program, adding even more strength to her genetic backing. Cruella is collar broke and ready for the show ring.
