Circle W Gardens

Circle W Gardens Located in north central Oklahoma, we are a family that is working towards a more agrarian lifestyle.

From growing and foraging to Sourdough in the kitchen, at Circle W we strive to bring the freshest, cleanest food and herbal remedies to our family and community. We currently work a half acre garden with tomatoes, squash, zucchini, okra, and peppers as our main vegetables. Not only do we grow a lot of produce, but we forage just as much wild goods as well…utilizing them for their tastiness as wel

l as their medicinal properties. We have a small apiary to help support pollinators and provide us with raw honey. Our goods are available at the Pawnee Farmers Market every Saturday during the growing season or by messaging this page directly!

Callie’s in full bake mode today! Find us at the Lone Chimney Christmas Market tomorrow! It’ll be the last chance of the season to shop with us. Being the last market of this year, the sourdough menu will include limited quantities of everything that Callie has brought to you throughout the year, including:

Bread boules
Bagels
Cinnamon Rolls
‘Not’ tarts
Scones
Browned butter Chocolate Chip cookies

Apothecary:

We will, of course, have all of our tincture options available and a couple of tea blends.

I’m sorry to announce that Chip’s pickled eggs are sold out for the season but will be back in Spring, we promise! 🫶🙂‍↕️ We do, however, have that ribbon earnin’ pickled okra he makes! along with a couple of his jellies👌🤌

Farmstand closed for the weekend! Chip is around if you find yourself in need of an herbal remedy message him directly.

My dad is in the hospital and though he may not ‘need’ me, I need him. At least, I needed to be close. If you’re the praying kind, say one for Jamie’s health and for his doctors to be guided in wisdom. 💚 -Callie

I’ll post the menu Friday of what will be available. 😋

I am working on a couple of signs for the 2 turns ya make to get to the farmstand along with a dramaticly cute open sign 🤪

Thanks for baring with me as I work out kinks and gain confidence in this new venture. It means the world to me, my husband, and my children!

Do pollinators prefer native or nativar wildflowers?

Nativar = native plant cultivated for desirable traits

Beebalm (monarda fistulosa): no preference
Blue Wild Indigo (Baptisia australis): preferred native
Butterfly Milkweed (Asclepias tuberosa): no preference
Purple Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea): preferred native
Yarrow (Achillea millefolium): preferred native
