The Gladden Farms Community Association’s 2026 Halloween Decorating Contest is back, and they’re looking for the most creative and festive outdoor home and yard displays in the neighborhood.

Think your decorations have what it takes?

Submit your entry by October 23 at 11:59 p.m. and have your display ready to go. Community voting will take place October 26–30, with winners announced on Facebook on October 31.

Only 4 days to go until one of Marana's favorite fall tradition returns!🎃

Get ready for a day packed with family fun at the Marana Fall Festival on Saturday, October 17 from 2–9 p.m. at Marana Heritage River Park in Gladden Farms.

Enjoy carnival rides, live music, pumpkin carving, the Spooky Garden Walk, a sunflower field photo spot, 20+ food trucks, artisan vendors, free crafts and the always-popular Mutton Bustin’ Competition. Then stick around for the final Movies in Marana showing of the season featuring Hocus Pocus at sundown!🍂

Admission is free, and guests are encouraged to bring a canned or non-perishable food item to support the Marana Food Bank.

The Marana Aquatic and Recreation Center recently earned three statewide awards from the Arizona Parks and Recreation Association!
🏆 Outstanding Facility Award — Marana Aquatic & Recreation Center (MARC)
🏆 Outstanding Media Award — campaign
🏆 Lifetime Achievement Award — Former Marana Parks and Recreation Director Jim Conroy

The MARC has already welcomed more than 300,000 visits since opening and offers everything from an indoor walking track and fitness center to gymnasiums, pools, water slides, diving boards and a splash pad. 💦🏊‍♀️

Congratulations to the entire Marana Aquatic and Recreation Center team on this well-deserved recognition!

The annual Trunk or Treat hosted by the Gladden Farms Community Association returns October 29 from 5–8 pm at Paws ’N Claws Park with creative trunks, costumes, plenty of treats and fun for the whole family.

Congratulations to Yolba Valle of Gladden Farms Elementary School, who was named SSC GEM of the Year for the Arizona/California region!

Her hard work and dedication have helped keep campuses across Marana welcoming and cared for for more than two decades, including the past six years at Gladden Farms Elementary.

Great schools are such an important part of a strong community, and the people behind them make all the difference. We’re proud to have educators and staff like Yolba serving families right here in Gladden Farms. 💛

October in Marana is jam packed with fun events for the whole family! From pumpkin picking and food trucks to live music, movies, splash pads and trick-or-treating, there’s plenty happening close to home at Gladden Farms.

🎃 October 3rd–31st: Marana Pumpkin Patch — Open Thursdays through Sundays at 14950 N. Trico Road. Explore more than 50 acres of fall fun, including the pumpkin patch, corn maze, petting zoo, train rides, jumping pillows, festive food and more.

🌮 October 7th: The Gladden Farms Community Association is hosting their monthly Food Truck Roundup, so head right down the street to Lon Adams Park from 4:30–7 pm for delicious bites from a variety of local food trucks.

🍂 October 17th: The Town of Marana is hosting their annual Fall Festival from 2–9 pm at Marana Heritage River Park in Gladden Farms! Enjoy carnival rides, live entertainment, the Spooky Garden Walk, sunflower field, b**r garden, Mutton Bustin’, 20+ food trucks, an artisan market and a special Movies in Marana showing of Hocus Pocus.

🎵 October 22nd: Listen to live music at Concerts in the Courtyard from 5-7 pm at Ed Honea Marana Municipal Complex while Town departments host the 5th Annual Halloween Treat Trail with decorated booths and trick-or-treating.

💦 October 26th: Marana Parks and Recreation’s splash pad season comes to a close, so make time for one last splash at Gladden Farms Community Park or Crossroads at Silverbell District, open from 8 am–7 pm.

🍬 October 29th: Join in on the Gladden Farms event of the season. The Gladden Farms Community Association is hosting their annual Trunk or Treat at Paws ’N Claws Park from 5–8 p.m. Decorate your vehicle, bring plenty of treats and join the neighborhood fun! Be sure to register your trunk through the Community Association website.
