I appreciate everyone's patience during the past few years and my lack of getting my homemade goodies out regularly. My husband Greg had a long cancer battle and unfortunately passed away last year. Three months before he passed my 2 daughters had a very bad car accident that they are still recovering from.
I am now a single mom of 3 teenagers and I need to step up and get back to work creating what I love from my farm. I will be making more soap and jams and products with my newest love sourdough!
My sourdough starter originated from a 100 year old San Francisco starter. My husband Greg maintained it and created with it for the past 6 plus years. After Greg passed I did not touch his starter, it was too painful, his starter went dormant in the back of the fridge. One day I pulled it out and fed it to see if it still had life left in it. It sure did! I started creating new things with his starter last year and have been working on perfecting recipes ever since. He would be so proud that his starter continues on and I am baking so many new things with it.
I sell sourdough products locally to my neighbors and I just started bringing my sourdough items to Arizona Artisan Creations 8800 W Water St. Marana, AZ, where you can also find my jams and soaps and more to come. Check back and I will post what I am bringing to the store and when. I do take special requests, feel free to message me. I currently specialize in Soft Sourdough Sandwich breads, Scones, Focaccia, brownies, English Muffins, and many more 100% sourdough items (no yeast used in my sourdough items).
