Custom Meats of Marathon, Inc. Custom Meats of Marathon, Inc. began in 1989 by popular demand. In the mid-to-late '80s, the local meat market in Marathon City closed down.

Left without a place to take their livestock for butchering, Marathon City residents were forced to go elsewhere. At that time Dale Heise started Custom Meats.

Apparently, our summer sausage just can't stop bringing home ribbons.

We're excited to share that our Sweet Jalapeño Summer Sausage earned 3rd Place at the Wisconsin State Fair! 🏅

If you haven't tried it yet, now's the perfect excuse.

Along with our newest award winner, we've got plenty of specialty sausage flavors in stock and ready to enjoy, including customer favorites that have become staples for camping trips, tailgates, family gatherings, and everything in between.

One more thing...

If you stop in over the next few weeks, you'll notice we're making a few improvements around the store. Please pardon the mess as we give our retail space a fresh new look to better serve both our longtime customers and those discovering Custom Meats for the first time.
