Our farm was hit last week by a tornado that touched down very unexpectedly. Somehow, all of our structures and animals were safe from damage. However, a lot of our flower crop took a beating. Today I walked out, expecting to see more devastation and instead was greeted by the gift of our giant marigolds blooming! We will be taking a break from markets until mid-August to let things catch back up, but in the meantime I’m glad to have some cheery blooms 🧡
