Making our Red Hot Rabbit Dip for Thanksgiving appetizer. Starts with de-boning and a flash on the grill. Finishes with rabbit broth and red hot sauce in the slow cooker. Tastes amazing.

Thank goodness for our community today who helped us relocate our cattle to pasture.

The largest heifer here is actually the same animal from our profile picture, 2 years ago!

My amazing boyfriend made this while I was out of town. It’s a 3D model based on my rantings about the rabbitry I hope to build.

To me, there are few things more powerful than being able to envision the dream along the way.

We have a lot to learn about posing. 💁‍♀️ Here is our first attempt with a selection from our last two kindles!

We keep our hands over their eyes to hold them still while we get their legs in the correct position.

The rabbits we raise are Meat Composites, meaning they carry genetics from multiple breeds in pursuit of an ideal production value.

The strongest breed influence comes from Rex and gives us the beautiful selection of colors.

When reviewing these photos we are happy to see strong muscle development at both the shoulder and hip.
We can also tell that the fryers from both litters are consistant in size and structure.

These rabbits were all a part of our last harvest. They showed the same consistency and superior health traits after processing.
