The Mission Olive is a historic California cultivar, developed by Spanish missionaries in the late 1700s, known for being a versatile, dual-purpose olive used for both table olives and high-quality olive oil.
🫒It's the only American olive variety listed by the International Olive Council and is recognized as a heritage food, prized for its firm flesh and oil with a mild, fruity, and sometimes peppery flavor. 👌
And we can't wait to harvest in November!
We plan to have Mission olive trees available mid February for purchase!
They absolutely thrive in our desert soils!
