We are proud to grow for a truly authentic farm to table restaurant because the ugly truth is so many aren’t. If you haven’t had a chance to go then I highly recommend. The menu is always changing with the season and that’s exactly how it should be!

THANK YOU to each and every one of you that braved the wet weather and came out to the this weekend to show your support for small local businesses. Especially us farmers who have impatient crops that still require us to maintain our scheduled duties. Harvesting and moving the product we cared so deeply for being one of the most key!

That being said we need help! We still have an abundance of gourmet baby salad greens and Arugula in plastic clamshells (they last soooo long this way), head lettuces, Bok choy, and assorted radishes that were harvested Friday and we desperately need to empty our coolers before harvesting again later this week.

Please reach out to us if you’d like to pick up on farm this week or to meet up in Travelers Rest. Let us help you do more of your weekly grocery shopping here locally. 👨‍🌾 and don’t forget about our eggs or delicious pork that has converted many non believers!! 🐖

Great news for small family farms!

Huge win for South Carolina agriculture this week. Today, Governor McMaster signed the “Roadside Market Bill” into law.

This legislation exempts roadside markets from municipal and county codes, permitting requirements, and stormwater regulations — making it easier and more affordable for farmers to open markets on their farms and sell directly to the communities they serve.

This is a major step forward for local agriculture, small family farms, and consumers who want greater access to fresh South Carolina-grown products.

Thank you to my co-sponsors, my colleagues in the General Assembly who supported this bill, and the county and municipal associations for working with me throughout the process to strengthen this legislation and get it across the finish line.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY WEEKEND!

We are fully stocked back up with our pork this week. From our famous breakfast sausage to our thick cut pork chops. Make mom the breakfast and dinner she deserves!
