2025’s been a wild one.

My day job pulled me way from my personal garden for most of the year. I’ll remember this as the first year since 2020 that I didn’t grow a single summer flower - no zinnias, no sunflowers, no celosia…. yikes.

No regrets though- it’s what was needed.

Still - a funny circumstance considering I garden for a living. Felt good to get outside and play for a bit in my own garden.

Hoping 2026 allows for more of it.

PLEASE SHARE. 3 year old Frankie is looking for a loving new home 💔

He loves being outside. He’s very well socialized. He is fixed. Gets along with dogs. Lives in a neighborhood that has several other outdoor cats. An excellent vermin hunter. We’ve tried keeping him indoors full time but he truly hates it. His ideal home would allow him to live primarily outdoors but still provide some shelter and food.

We’ve been put in a position now where we are forced to find him a new home for Frankie, a staple of our daily lives for the last few years. We’re happy to help with Frankie’s transition into a new home however we can.

We’ve reached out to several barn cat/working cat programs and hope to hear something from them, but from what I’ve read, they are almost always at capacity with rescued strays.

PLEASE SHARE THIS POST. The more eyes we get on Frankie the better chance we have of finding him the perfect home.
