Don't miss The Fool's Dog Threestival Redemption Show! This Friday 8/21 at the Bucket!
HALIFAX, PA - T'was the 9th day of May, 2025. Fool's Dog was primed to meld in musical matrimony with the seemingly can't-go-wrong rythm section of K-Rock on drums and Brian Tellurian on bass for what certainly could only be a happenstance of great succes and joy at Spring Threestival. Simple enough, right? Wrong.
The day was moist as the drum & bass duo set out alledgedly to arrive with nearly 2 hours to spare, at which point, Fool's Dog would be complete and figure out what in world this show was going to be. Yet despite the warning "hey man, better hit the road. The traffic is wack!" The hubris of the rythm section proved to be their undoing. Oh, they sure hit traffic...and they waited...and waited...they changed course, hit traffic again, rinse and repeat...
Finally, the rythm section pulls into Threestival just in time to watch Tiggs and the others finish the final song of their set. The pathetic duo stood there frustrated and dejected, chomping at the bit to perform their craft as the other bands seemingly mocked them with their wonderful, celebratory performances. The rains that (in retrospect) foreshadowed how the day would turn out scolded the two losers' pitiful vissages. They couldn't bear to stay in shame so like sillouhettes in the night, they they faded away from Threestival defeated.
Neither had ever bungled a gig to that extent before but it wasn't about them. It was Tiggs' moment. The remaining talented members of Fool's Dog did their due diligence, the performance wasn't completely ruined and Tiggs was kind in his grace but K-Rock and Brian weren't going to let this miscarraige of justice be the final chapter in this saga. They would see to it that they'd make it up to Tiggs and get their redemption.
This is that redemption.
