We haven’t been around for all 6 but we sure are glad we’re apart of the fun now!

We’re turning SIX!

Join us this Friday, June 19, as we celebrate 6 incredible years of creating community, one beer at a time.

We’ve got a full day planned:
🥤 On-N-Poppin Dirty Sodas on the patio starting at noon
⚽ USA vs. Australia World Cup action on at 3 PM

We’ve been really leaning into the orchard side of our orchard-based cider lately. 🍎🌳

With last year’s harvest kegged and waiting for you, our focus has shifted to the next generation of trees. It’s always surprising how many times we touch these trees before they ever bear fruit. These new Golden Russet trees have already been planted, supported with new infrastructure, topped off with soil, had their blooms removed (more than once!), and fertilized. And that’s only the start of their journey before they eventually find their way into a cider blend a few years down the road.

It’s a lot of work but good cider is worth the wait 🍻

Until then, you can taste what mature Golden Russet trees bring to the glass in our Putnam’s Gold dry cider🍺🍏

That’s exactly why partnering with our friends Dan and Katie from Hidden Hills Orchard in Marietta, Ohio has meant so much to us. Their family orchard and our brewery share the same belief, keep it local to the core, keep it genuine, and create something people can gather around.

Together, we’ve crafted Bud & Bird Cider, made exclusively at Old Bridge Brewing Company using apples from Hidden Hills Orchard right here in Southeast Ohio.

It’s more than just hard cider to us. It’s neighbors supporting neighbors, local business supporting local business, and a reminder that some of the best things come from close to home.
