We want to thank the community for a great 15 years. It was our honor to serve each and every one of you. The only thing constant in this world is change! Dana and I will still be local and look forward to seeing everyone when we’re out and about. We have officially sold the brewery!

We would like to congratulate Black Diamond Brewery & Distillery Marietta and wish them good luck in their endeavors! We’re excited to see what great and exciting things you bring to Marietta! Cheers!

WELCOME TO BLACK DIAMOND MARIETTA!

First, a big thank you to Tony & Dana Styer who created a fantastic brewhouse with the Marietta Brewing Company.

With the acquisition of the Marietta Brewing Company, Black Diamond is proud to carry on the tradition of craft brewing in Marietta, Ohio—now as Black Diamond Brewery & Distillery Marietta.

Black Diamond is more than just a name. It’s a federally protected trademark that pays tribute to Ohio’s industrial heritage and the sacrifices made by its people and environment through coal extraction. Marietta, being the first settlement in the northwest territory, is a perfect marriage begetting of our company and the location as we seek to continue highlighting the rich history of Ohio and those who built the region.

We are a diverse group of investors with deep roots in Southern Ohio, united by a shared passion for revitalizing small communities that often lack redevelopment opportunities. Our sister company, Black Diamond Development Company LLC, has a strong preservation ethos—none of our buildings are less than 100 years old, and this acquisition proudly continues that tradition.

The Marietta location will be the fifth Black Diamond food and beverage brand in Ohio, with further expansion planned for 2025.

While we’ll focus on our signature Black Diamond beers and spirits, we’re also excited to continue brewing a few of the Marietta Brewing Company’s most popular beers.

As for food, you’re in for something special—a menu featuring gourmet sliders and flatbreads. We will post the menu soon.

We're preservation fanatics, and the stunning murals inside the building will remain protected and celebrated. While we will promote our brand, we are committed to honoring the legacy and spirit of what has been built here over the years.

Our goal is to become a part of the fabric of your community, just as the Marietta Brewing Company did over many years.

If we have a strength, it’s in setting realistic expectations. The transaction closed today, and although the building is in excellent condition, we won’t open our doors until we’ve assembled the best possible team to provide outstanding customer service.

I think we can officially call it Hoodie season! We still have some hoodie's available to purchase! We are out of Extra Large and 2XL but have S, M and Large! We are offering them at 35% off ! Remember that while we are looking for a buyer for MBC we are open while we are on the search! Come on by and and grab a hoodie to keep you warm on these warm fall mornings!

We are pretty low on all merch here at the pub, but we created a pop-up online shop for anyone wanting some MBC merch. We are open with a limited menu and limited hours so feel free to stop by for a some grub and suds but be sure to check out this pop up shop! Cheers!

It is with heavy hearts that we (Tony & Dana Styer) have decided to put the Marietta Brewing Company up for sale. This is not a decision we came to easily. We want to thank the local community for all the support you’ve given us over the last 15 years. We also want to thank all the wonderful staff members we’ve had over the years that worked hard for us and kept this machine going! This place has a long history and is in a great location so the potential for what could come is endless. With all that said we will continue to operate as long as we can under a limited menu and limited hours. Currently Wednesday and Thursday 4pm-9pm Friday and Saturday 12pm-9pm and Sunday 12pm-8pm. We dodged a bullet here folks! We’re very thankful for that. While we didn’t take in any water, we’ll be closed again today with the roads closed all around us and the river only 2 feet from our back door. Not everyone in our community was as lucky, send them good vibes and be ready to help with the clean up if you’re able. Tomorrow (Saturday 4/6) is looking like we’ll be back in business! Come have a beer with us! Cheers!

We’re closed today due to the high waters. Thank you to everyone who have reached out to check on us. We currently don’t anticipate water coming into the building as long as current projections stay on course, and we thankfully don’t have a basement. But PLEASE don’t take your jeep or truck or jeep truck through high waters. The waves you create could cause water to come into the buildings. Not to mention this could damage your own vehicle easily. There have been multiple vehicles caught doing this today. Please be cautious, the roads are closed for a reason. Turn it around!!
