The results are in from the NYOI survey, and we are incredibly proud to announce that the Boys & Girls Club of Pleasants County ranked #1 in not only West Virginia, but the entire Midwest Region of Boys & Girls Clubs! 💙
So, what does that mean?
Each year, Boys & Girls Clubs participate in the National Youth Outcomes Initiative (NYOI) — an anonymous survey that gives kids and teens the opportunity to share how they feel about their Club experience. Think of it as a report card for the Club itself.
The survey helps us understand how our members feel about their safety, relationships with staff, sense of belonging, opportunities, and overall experience at the Club.
And our members gave us something to be incredibly proud of. ❤️
Our Club had the highest results among Boys & Girls Clubs in West Virginia and the Midwest Region when it comes to how kids feel about their Club experience.
We may be small, but we are MIGHTY!💙
These results aren't just statistics. They are our kids telling us that what we do matters.
They are telling us that they feel connected. They feel heard. They feel accepted. They enjoy being here.
We are so incredibly proud of our staff for creating an environment where kids can be themselves, be weird, build relationships, try new things, and know that there are adults here who care about them.
