Happy Wednesday! We finished up planting our Fall mums today so they'll be ready in Sept. 🤩 Our tentative closing day will be Sunday June 28 for flower season & we will reopen towards the end of July for produce season! 🌽🫑🥒🥕🍅🫛

Let's talk about our new "toy" the Eco-weeder. W**d control is a top concern on the farm as weeds can choke plants, stealing their nutrients and growing space. We have our cultivating tractor and the cultivating implement which is always in use, but weeding has always been one of the manual labor tasks that we also need to do whether we like it or not. This has already saved our backs hours of hoing and pulling weeds and this wonderful tool is already so much appreciated by us and our growing crops.

Howdy my friends! Whew what a hot day, y'all remember to drink plenty of water if you're out gardening in this heat. So here is the field update. Everything is looking great so far, we do need some rain but we have been hand watering in the field to keep things happy. Today Tom is planting more corn and beans, and I am on the beautiful old international fertilizing and cultivating tomatoes. I am over the top excited for when that magical day comes that I get a taste of the first tomato!!

Happy memorial day, we honor, appreciate, and have the deepest respect for all of our veterans!!! We have a bogo trixi mix sale as well as a hanging basket sale going.
