Behind everyone that runs down the alley at a barrel race is a multi layered support system. It might be a “individual sport” but there’s so many people that you have to have behind you to be able to do it to the best of your ability. This post is for the parents!

Mine specifically have supported this hobby turned business for as long as I can remember.

We started out in a crappy little old trailer that did the job and slowly upgraded to newer trailers that hold more horses. We have barrel raced almost every weekend for the last 8 years.

They celebrate the good days, encourage me through the tough ones, and continue to support me even when things don’t go as planned. They’ve made countless sacrifices to help me chase my goals and have always believed in me and my dreams.

I’m beyond grateful for everything they do, every sacrifice they make, and all the ways they help me pursue what I love.💙

So thankful for my parents, and all my lesson students parents I get to see and deal with every week! You guys are all the best! Thank you for being amazing!

I was really hoping for a faster run than what we ended up with, but a clean run at least counts for something! 🤞🏻 a little bit of a faster time runs and puts us in some open money

I normally run him in split reins because I HATE loop reins but switched to my Cowboy Couture Reins from Sorrel Supply Co…. They are my favorite reins I’ve ever ran in! Go get yourself some and you’ll fall in love with them!
