It’s a frosty morning but the cows still need fed! Having the cows out on pasture this time of year means that we have to take round bales of hay out to them since the grass is done growing. Rather than using a bale feeder, we spread our bales around the pasture so they can move around while they eat and damage less of the pasture.

Dan doesn’t enjoy the cold, but he bundled up and got it done with a little help from Aaron. The cows are now happily eating their breakfast!

WEDNESDAY! 🚨 I have 32 bins with 32 different kinds of dahlias in here! I'm quickly chopping these up and randomly bagging them today and tomorrow. 💲20/bag!! There are 20+ tubers in each bag! (I'll put a video in the comments/fb)

These bags will be in the store Wednesday.
✔️First come first serve.

This was so much fun last year and I'm glad i can do this again! Thank you to everyone who sent me pictures of their LO blooms this year, I appreciated that more than you know!

It’s a beautiful day! The sun is shining and the bakery case is full of warm, scratch-made baked goods!

We have Italian wedding soup, pumpkin marshmallow croissants, jalapeño cheddar biscuits, banana nut muffins, and so much more. PLUS- flower bouquets, a fresh batch of ice cream, and a local pork restock!

Don’t mind our super-secret ice cream stash! 😉 Usually we cure our ice cream in the walk-in freezer, but with today’s pouring rain it’s hanging out in the store freezer instead. It will be ready tomorrow! We made the “basics” including:

🐮 Vanilla Bean
🐮 Chocolate
🐮 Cookies & Cream
🐮 Pumpkin
🐮 And everyone’s favorite, Peanut Butter Honeycomb! 🍯🥜

This ice cream was made with our pasture-raised milk less than 12 hours old- it doesn’t get any fresher than that. 😌 We have a few other flavors in stock, and we’ll be back to our usual weekly restock next week. Come see us 10-4 tomorrow to grab a quart of your favorite flavor!

FRESH FLOWERS 💐& SOMETHING NEW! 👀

💐I couldn't believe the colorful flowers I found in the field this morning! We've been dusted with frost a few times which destroyed the tops of most of our flowers, so it was a welcome surprise to see bloom reset 😯 Enjoy!

👀 Gardeners and flower enthusiasts, check out that green paper! If you were here last year, you know I got rid of my extra dahlia tubers at below WS 🔖! This year I have SOOOOO MUCH MORE that MUST go. We aren't ready yet, but we are digging and sorting. Keep an eye out!
