Well, change of plans for today.
Unfortunately, we were just informed that we will not be pouring at the Tazewell Oktoberfest after all.

While we hate to miss the event, the good news is that our taproom will be open today at 2 PM here at 36 Fifty Brewing with special discounts!

So if you were hoping to grab a b**r from us today, come see us at the brewery instead. We’d love to have you.
Thanks so much for the continued support, and we hope to see y’all this afternoon. 🍻

🍻 Brewery Update 🍻

36 Fifty Brewing will be CLOSED at the taproom this weekend because we’re taking the b**r on the road to Tazewell, VA for Oktobrewfest! 🇩🇪🍺

We’ll be pouring a few of our b**rs at the festival, so if you’re headed that way, come find us, grab a pint, and say hey.

We hate to miss a weekend at the brewery, but we’re excited to represent Marion and 36 Fifty Brewing at a great local event.

Thanks for the continued support, and we’ll see everyone back at the brewery soon!

We’re pretty excited about this one!!!

36 Fifty Brewing master brewer/lead janitor Curtis Shupe has been invited to speak at the Virginia Brewers Conference as part of the panel:
“What’s Brewing Beneath: Facing Mental Health in the B**r Industry.”

Running a small brewery means a lot more than making b**r. It means long days, financial pressures, physical work, customer service, problem solving, and usually wearing about twelve different hats at once.

Curtis will be joining other brewery professionals and mental health advocates to talk about some of the challenges people in our industry don’t always talk about and, more importantly, what we can do to build a healthier and more supportive community.

We’re incredibly proud that our little brewery here in Marion, Virginia gets to have a seat at the table and represent Southwest Virginia at the Brewers Conference.

Not bad for a nano-brewery with a guy whose official title still includes Lead Janitor. 🍺
