💙🐮 Here comes Holly Blues! 🐮💙

This one of the last chances to secure a heifer from Xbar6 ranch this year!

Holly is a dun highford heifer that honestly has us puzzled. Why is that? Because we’ve never seen a dun this light before! But we sent the test of to UC Davis and sure enough, confirmed dun. We are pretty sure it can be attributed to the wild-type gene she carries. She is BEAUTIFUL. 😍 pictures really don’t do her justice because she almost glows in the sun! ☀️

Holly will stay small and is incredibly sweet. She’s always cool as a cucumber when we come around, just like her mama, Licorice. She has amazing conformation and will grow beautiful horns. Additionally, if you’re thinking about breeding, if bred to a highland bull you will get offspring that is 75% highland!

If Holly doesn’t find new pasture, we will be stoked to keep her right here in our program, but we have a feeling she’s gonna find a forever family pretty quick.

💪🏻💯 Guys like this are the backbone of everything we do 💯💪🏻

Day to day, there’s so much that happens behind the scenes that no one ever sees. The hard, exhausting, dirty work that takes long days and a real special kind of grit.

On this particular day, we had a decent lot of calves to tag, and there was no shortage of heat and strong winds throwing dirt around nonstop. But they do what has to be done. Even if it means walking away with a pound of dirt in your eyes 👀 🤣.

So thankful for all the guys and girls that do the dirty jobs and get s**t done 🤍💪🏻.
