Happy Saturday!!!!! I recently had the opportunity to speak at the Illinois State Fair on behalf of my new role with the Illinois Farmers Market Association! It’s always great to talk about the importance of shopping and supporting local- farmers, markets, vendors & businesses!

Local food is fresher & safer (especially during these times), you can learn where and how things are grown and made, it keeps $$ circulating in our local economies, it is a smaller supply chain and footprint, it helps to diversify the economy and it helps support small businesses, their families and dreams🌟🌟🌟

Happy Friday!!!! We got a visit this week from our good friend Jennifer Colboth as she restocked her Art Snacks - “Snack-sized” Local Artworks machine that we have at the shop! It features small, local art for only $5! A great offering and way to support local and start your small art collection! Happy Thursday! Shop will be open today 11-5!

Another big Thank You to these ladies for helping out at Glaciers End Pickle Fest 2: The Pickling!

They are great friends that came from Chicago suburbs & KY to visit for the weekend. And they jumped right in with helping us- from folding shirts, to cutting and putting out temporary pickle tattoos (which were a big hit), to helping clean up & restock! It was great visiting with them and to have them be a part of our event! Bonus: the day after the event we went on 2 hikes, introduced them to The Grapevine • Levantine Cuisine and hit up a winery!
