A BIG Thank you to everyone that has came out & showed up for the last 2 days! We had a fantastic turnout for the viewing and launch of Our Local Table on Thursday! And it was a fun & amazing evening spent last night around the square for The Enchanted Square- A Witches Night Out in The City of Marion Illinois!

Introducing our potion & theme for tonight for The Enchanted Square- A Witches Night Out: Black Phillip potion from the movie The Witch!

Black Philip cocktail: Ezra Brooks Rye Wh***ey, Maplewood Fernet, Glaciers End ElderCherry Shrub & Fig Leaf Syrup, Lemon & Club Soda. Our twist on a Paper Airplane!

Dress up in your witchy outfits, gather your crew & come enjoy the festivities (costume contest, music at several locations, dance party, etc) around the The City of Marion Illinois from 6-8pm tonight!

We’ll be dressed as Black Phillip (Derek) & Thomasin (Libby) from the movie The Witch🧙‍♀️🐐

Happy Friday!!!! Looks to be a super busy Fall weekend!!!

Fig Leaf Syrup is back! With notes of vanilla and coconut, this is delicious on or in breakfast items, desserts, in coffee and teas, water, mocktails & especially good in Cocktails!!!

Note: we will not be at the The Farmers Market of Carbondale tomorrow and will be taking the week off of LEAF Food Hub . But please pay them both a visit!

Happy Thursday! Shop will be open today 10-5!

We’ll be there @ 6:30, show premieres at 7:30 PM Central Time on WSIU Public Television! The show will be on WSIU’s YouTube Channel at 8:00 PM. If you subscribe to PBS passport, you can also watch it there after the premiere. And… if you aren’t in the WSIU viewing area (which is most of IL), you can watch the live stream on WSIU.org.

We are SOOO excited for this!!!

Join us & Our Local Table hosts Rooted in Foods and Stephanie Rhodes at Buckwater Brew Works and Wh***ey House to watch the show’s premiere episode on WSIU PBS.

Our Local Table tells the stories of the farmers and makers who shape Southern Illinois foodways. Each episode begins in the field, sometimes literally, highlighting the people behind our food culture. Hosts Niki Davis and Stephanie Rhodes then settle into the kitchen to share approachable recipes made with regional ingredients. We hope you’re inspired to try something new. We hope you take time to explore Southern Illinois and all of the delicious food its people have to offer. We’ll save you a place at Our Local Table.

Buckwater has reserved space for the party, but all TVs will be tuned to WSIU at 7:30 PM for the premiere.

Episode 1 features us here at Glaciers End from The City of Marion Illinois!

Dill Pickle Hot Sauce is back in stock! This new hot sauce was such a hit at our Pickle Fest & has been highly requested! It uses all of the flavors from our G’ma Ervin’s Pickles and is the perfect mixture of Dill, hot & tangy! Excellent on wings or wherever you want to add some Pickly heat🔥🥒

Happy Friday! We’re beyond excited to welcome back Donna’s Pickle B**r to the shop!!!! Out of all of the Pickle b**rs that we tried for our Pickle Fest, this was hands down our personal favorite! If you like Pickles & B**r, this is a must try🍻🥒 (only available for purchase at the shop)

Happy Thursday! Shop will be open today 10-4!

A big Thank You to the Andersonville Farmers Market and staff for having us out yesterday to do a popup! This is now an annual event for us and it was wonderful day and turnout!!! And it’s extra special as this is the market that I used to shop at when we lived in Chicago- kind of a full circle moment for us!

Now we’re off to enjoy the city, food and sights for a bit!
