We are INSIDE MARKET B at the WNC Farmers Market out of the wind, rain, and cool weather. These are the last of the summer flowers bc frost comes tonight! Zinnas, Dalhias, and Marigolds gone til June next yr!! Grab the last of summer!!! We also have dried flowers mixed with eucalyptus and lavender. We do have chrysanthemums just coloring now, so maybe next weekend they will be ready for market? Those bunches will likely be sold as bunches of mixed colors. See you in Market B!

Guess where I spent this week? I brought pumpkins from the farm for EC kids to do their class pumpkin for PG school! Thank you Mrs. ShoSho for letting me be a part of a fun project!!

We will be at Spencer's Hardware next weekend with dried wreaths and our chrysanthemum bunches!

Come join us Saturday, October 24th at our Marion location for our last Local Market of 2026! We will have quilted goods, baked goods and fried pies, handmade jewelry, handcrafted gifts, flowers, caramel & candy apples, cotton candy, a taco stand and more!! Some of our vendors include Pine Spring Farm, Grace Upon Grace Designs, Earth Heart, Krazie Kandies, and Memaw’s Homemade Goodies. Jalapeno Fresh Grill will be here with a taco & burrito stand. Come get your Christmas shopping started and grab some yummy food and treats! Kids will be able to decorate a free pumpkin and there is a fall themed photo booth. 10:00am-2:00pm on 10/24! Don't miss it!!!

NO MARKET TODAY!!
I worked on some dried lavender and eucalyptus with dried flowers last night. I planned to go to the market this am but have decided to stay closer to home. We would have to travel through Bl Mt which is expected to have some flash flooding as the day goes on and my husband really wants us to be home. My Business mind says no way! His LE mind says safety first and his protect my family thoughts intensifies that!! Then I have to remember my why. I started the flower side of farming to make income to be able to be home more. Its not worked exactly as planned but we are working toward that goal. My husband can't pull out the generator. He can not check the basement he is dependent on the boys and their inexperience and sometimes lack of detail. He needs me home incase things turned bad. I also have been off farm working a lot and have a couple of those side jobs need to be covered this weekend. I can go.this am wrap them up and come back quicker and easier. I feel torn for not showing up to WNC Farmers Market and meeting my family's needs. We know which needs comes first. I will be dropping flowers at the Prescription Pad as they sold out yesterday! Thank you Mr Matthew Phillips!! The regular local support has been so appreciated!! Thank you!

Fresh flower drop at the Prescription Pad of Marion yesterday afternoon for this weekend!! Thank you for all who keep our season going as I weekly have people grabbing fresh flowers there! We are impatiently waiting on the mums for fall!!

Looky looky what is coming in to the farm over the next couple weeks! We will offer 10 bulbs for $20. They will be available at WNC Farmers Market on Saturday ams or on farm with order in advance. I have a limited amount available.above our normal plantings. ONLY available until DECEMBER 1st!

Oops I missed getting to the Prescription Pad of Marion tonight. I will run the bucket after I finish subbing tomorrow! Sorry! I had this order come in after subbing at the school all day!! Yes 9 vases for someone who has been so helpful and just had surgery! Can you tell they are appreciated!!
