You see it? Look again. Notice the mountains in the distance

Our relocation and complete farm sell off was harsh, but life has a way of bringing you back inside to yourself and those around you sometimes. The down time has been very insightful, good for the soul, but also, I miss it. One very late night porch session with Ramen and a glass of wine with Willow & Fox Homestead, and would you believe I'm over here wondering how well emu would do at 4,000 ft in zone 7b?

Nothing like a good soul refresh with a kindred spirt to bring you back to life. ❤️

Now that does **not** mean I'm getting emu, heck, I love elephants too-- but my soul did get a taste of what it's had to forget. We're not done, we're working on our pivot.

These girls really are enjoying being social creatures these days. If you know shepherds, you know that can be very anxious, especially if not well socialized. It's taken a bit of work, but they're making us so proud and they're so happy now.
