Our goal is to provide the best available feed at the best price. The Ingredient Exchange was founded in June of 1984 by Thomas E. Tom was born and raised in a farming family. From crop farming, to a small dairy and beef farm, to other livestock as well, Tom was a farm boy. Tom worked for Central Soya Company for 20 years before setting out on his own to start The Ingredient Exchange, a company th

at merchandises agricultural byproducts. The company headquarters were in Decatur, IN for 15 years and then moved to own current home in Markle, IN in 2014. Tom’s daughter, Sherri Thomas, joined the company in 2004. Starting out as A/R A/P to learn the business from the ground up. Sherri has taken over the business, and co-owns the Company with Tom, who retired in January of 2016.
