Yesterday was National Farm Worker Appreciation Day, and in true farming fashion, many of us were too busy farming to post.

So today, the New Jersey Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee wants to take a moment to recognize and thank the incredible farm workers who help keep New Jersey agriculture moving.

Behind every farmer is a team of dedicated people working long hours, often behind the scenes. They plant, prune, harvest, feed livestock, repair equipment, load trucks, work packing lines, stock farm markets, and do countless other jobs that make it possible for fresh, local food to reach our tables.

Agriculture is truly a team effort, and farm workers are an essential part of that team. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment deserve to be recognized not just yesterday, but every day.

To every farm worker across New Jersey and beyond—thank you. Your work matters, your dedication is appreciated, and we are grateful for all you do to help feed our communities.
