Lots of new activity going on around our growing farm. Added some chicks to the folk as the interest in eggs continues to grow. Little duckies to help fertilize the garden. Two little lambs to help keep the fields down and food in our bellies 🐓🐑🐏🦆 And of course starting some veggies 🥒🫑🍉

Chickens 🐓 are putting out about 10 eggs a day right now. $3 for 12 or $5 for 18.

It was a busy year raising and harvesting our own meat BUT we can say our 2023 harvest season has come to a close. Our freezers are stock with about 130 lbs of beef, 90 lbs of pig and about 50 lbs of deer. Now if I can just get the garden to grow next year, we will really be all set.

Another busy weekend in the books. Visiting our new grandson…oh yeah and his parents…😅. Then we processed the second pig. Now we have the cow along with some rabbits and our freezers will be full.
