Our Stallion Theodore..enjoying some play time in the arena that soon will be safe enough to train our young horse's in. We will truly appreciate this space. Just about 80 percent of this arena was recycled materials.
The roofing and screws and bolts were new..and our Kickboards are new material.
We never go for fancy here..we go for sturdy and workable space...it just happened to turn out pretty...like our Stallion. We will never do outside breeding with this superstar..it's all in house broodmares that we take care of. Theodore was bred from Trudy a registered Percheron named Trudy..Trudy was able to do a lot in her life...helped beginners ride and some other interesting adventures. She produced only one baby..Theodore...when he was two..we had to make a decision to geld or keep him a stallion. We had friends and a vet tell us to geld...but looking at his conformation...and his calm demeanor..the decision was made to have a draft cross stallion. His lineage is from the Percheron but also a little lippizan and thoroughbred. He's getting up their in age 20...and not a slacker when it comes to his ladies. Breeding season is ahead of us..it's start is quick and over with. We only do live cover so that takes some planning. Between fencing and handling it's never been a huge challenge..but something always under consideration. He is such a charmer...his ladies love him. Looking forward to some fun hours with him..in this cool space!
20+ and looking extra fine getting ready for 2023 breeding season

All four of these gorgeous babies will be weaned in only two months! Three will be looking for a human. Thank goodness we are building that indoor! Young horse's..will be having lot's of training time this winter! First foal..is Emani..she has her human! Second foal is Izzabella..she is Benjamin and Matoakas sister..third foal is Spruce and a cute package for that big sport pony. He is also Cedars brother! Fourth is Ophelia...Eleanors sister...yeah..they are all fun and fabulous. We do offer training board now! Just ask..at this time it's only for our foals. But we can put you on a waiting list. !
Second day..15 minutes on the grass and then a couple of hours on the dry lot! Yaay! Spruce and Ophelia! Moms could care less.
Izabella is doing great as is Olympias baby..we are calling her Amelia for now..she may have a name change...we shall see.
Liberty and baby ! Fun antics!! Sage is hanging out with them as she is starting to show signs of getting Ready to foal..probably within the next two weeks!
The babies first hang out session. Thank goodness for nice alfalfa, purchased at Cheshire Horse. The mom's did pretty good! Babies have already been visiting through the fence. We will continue to do this from now on..extending the time until the mom's are ok with the change.
Hears to a fun packed 2022! 2021 was golden but I think we can do a glow up! Thank you to all that made it happen over the last year including the new members of the Balance Point clan Ben's new mom, Lucy's new mom ceader's new mom and Harriet's new mom. 2022 hopefully brings 4 new bundles of joy that we have the privilege of matching with the perfect family now the anticipation starts what will we get boys girls bays or blacks? What's everyone's thoughts?
