A girl, 4-H, and a steer
Rustling Birches Ranch is the dream of a 10-year-old little girl. After raising, showing and auctioning her first 4-H steer she knew she wanted to raise and sell quality beef. She used some of the proceeds from the sale of that steer to purchase a heifer to breed to start her herd and then spent countless hours researching the nutritional needs of beef cattle. She used that information to create a feed recipe that has proven very effective in producing a fantastic finished product. She even approached a local farmer to mix this feed for her with locally grown grains.
Along the way her 3 younger sisters have joined her venture and in 2016 they established Rustling Birches Ranch. With minimal help and guidance from their parents, the Pierce girls produce great tasting, farm raised beef. They say their beef tastes so great because of all the LOVE that goes into raising it!
