As planting and harvest work picks up, expect to see more tractors and other slow-moving farm equipment traveling our local roads. These machines are large, move slowly, and may need extra room to safely navigate turns, intersections, and narrow roadways.

If you come up behind farm equipment, slow down, be patient, and pass only when it’s safe and legal to do so. A few extra minutes can make a big difference.

Farmers are trying to get to and from their jobs, too. Let’s look out for one another and share the road.
