Today is the last day we will be open for apple picking. After today we’re closed for the season .

We will be opening 9/16/22 if the apples are ready for picking. IF I’m not up by the front shed come down to the house.

I sprayed the orchard yesterday. The apples look good and are growing well. It looks like I may have to start to prop up some of the limbs well that’s all for now .

Just finished the second spraying Friday about the 15 th I’ll do another.I’ll keep inspecting for big damage if I find any before the 15 th I’ll spray again

I cut grass all day and still didn’t get off the until 7:30 and still had more grass to cut this morning.the grass was about 18 inches tall it took until 2:00 .

If I am able I’ll start pruning the apple orchard next week.when the buds start to swell I’ll do the dormant oil spray.this will get the orchard off to a good start.

Do you see the picture of the little kid picking apples he is one of my grandsons but now he’s in high school and is 6 foot 4 inches and plays basketball for the high school
