Because DL had open heart bypass surgery on May 22, we chose not to bottle feed any more doe fawns this season. However, this little girl changed that plan. During our midday deer pen checks yesterday, we found her with a broken leg at a day old. Thankfully, she took to bottle feeding immediately. đź’•

DL went to the ER this past Tuesday with chest pains. By Friday he was having open heart bypass surgery. We are still in the hospital and have a long recovery before us….

I couldn’t have imagined going through this past week with babies dropping on the ground… thank you, LORD, for the blessing of babies coming a little later than expected…..Amen
