Determined to forge our own path, we began brewing kombucha—seeking inspiration from our ancestral roots, and tapping into the traditional practices and wisdom of those before us. Our Western North Carolina team and the surrounding area have been greatly impacted by Hurricane Helene. It is unimaginable. This 1-in-500-year flood has left our community in crisis, with lives and livelihoods lost, homes destroyed, and essential services disrupted.

We are sharing a quick update that will be followed by others:

– Our entire team and their families are safe and accounted for.
– We are mobilizing our resources to provide necessary aid and support to our team, town and community.
– We will share resources, donation opportunities, and ways to volunteer on our feed.
– Thank you to everyone who has checked in. The road to recovery will be long, however, the resilient spirit of this community shines bright and we will rebuild and emerge stronger.

For over 16 years, our purpose has been to create delicious, better-for-you beverages while using our resources to make a positive impact. As we continue to grow and evolve, our commitment to this mission remains strong and continues to be our guide.

In keeping with this commitment, it is with a mix of gratitude and thoughtful consideration that we announce the retirement of our Buchi Kombucha 12oz bottle line. While we say farewell to our 12oz. bottles, Buchi Kombucha will remain on-tap at select locations like Rosetta's Kitchen, and our cans of Wild Pop and Tepache will be on shelves at regional retailers like Ingles. As always, you can search for Buchi products near you by using the Store Locator on our website.

This decision, while bittersweet, is necessary as we continue to grow, innovate, and evolve. The Buchi brand (and Buchi Kombucha) has played a foundational role in our history, nurturing our connection to you and our community, and it has also been instrumental in paving the way for us to have a much larger impact through FedUpFoods.

If you've been following our journey, you might already be familiar with FedUp Foods, our parent company. FedUp Foods was formed in 2020 from our shared vision to use our business as a force for good. Through FedUp Foods, we produce private label beverages for retailers nationwide, making healthy beverages that are more affordable and accessible to more people! The Buchi brand is an extension of our work and will continue to evolve as we do.

We are deeply grateful for your trust, loyalty and continued support, and hope you’ll continue to join us on this journey as we expand our team, and prepare to open our third facility in the South East.

Small Cans, Big News 📣

If you have been with us on our journey for any amount of time, you know that Buchi is nothing if not ever-changing, ever-growing. And this year is no exception.

While we work tirelessly toward the grand opening of our third facility in Wilmington, NC, we have decided to make some critical changes to our product lineup in order to streamline our operations. With that said - we will no longer be producing Buchi kombucha in the small (albeit mighty) 8 oz. cans.

We understand we have many big fans of the little cans, so we appreciate your understanding and cooperation while we move through this change. Rest assured; you can still find your favorite Buchi flavors in our beautiful bottles, as always. Head to the Store Locator in the link in our bio!
