CH Callaway's Mr. Republican (sire: WGC CH Will Shriver Dam: The Charmed Princess, by Genius Bourbon King) and Rick Wallen, pictured at Devon 1988 winning the Five Gaited Championship for Polly Meade Holm.
The pair were also Reserve in the Gelding Stake that year at Louisville and 3rd in the big stake.
They also were the Five Gaited Grand Champions at the American Royal, Wisconsin Futurity, and Midwest Charity that same year, a feat which they repeated again in 1989 and 1990 and at all of those shows, in addition to Devon!
"Repo" was truly a grand, grand horse. His show ring debut came with John Jones at Midwest Charity in 1984, where they won the Three Year old class. He was the 1991 Ladies Five Gaited World's Champion of Champions with Joy Schaefer Teal presenting and then under the direction of Donna Moore.
