Introducing: Jen-Mae-Ka Kids Grand Finale

"Allie" is what we call this gal, she is a fun challenge with the sweetest personality! We love the babies we have gotten so far (intros at a later date) and she has now completed her permanent champion status after this season!

This gal has been a fun doe who is always in our minds as the "two years from now" kind of gal when she will hit her prime. She is really green, but oh so correct! We are so appreciative of the trust extended to us by the Lawrence family to have multiple Jen Mae Ka does. We sure love them!

Our show day at Boone County Fair was incredible! 364 head walked this show ring yesterday, what a fair for being a "county fair". 🙌 The Toggenburg show left us stunned because this doe has been the largest "glow up" we have ever seen on our farm. This special gal was Grand Champion/Best of Breed today in a beautiful togg show!

⭐️ Introducing Kornely's PCW Kinsley ⭐️

Kinsley is a grand daughter to farm favorite doe who started our whole breeding program- GCH Dry Creek Acres Citronella 🫶 We had sold a buck, A-K Acres Preston Chadwick (Citronella son) to Bruce and Pat, and Ashley saw this girl on an annual visit after losing her girl Citronella and knew she had to ask to buy Kinsley. Bruce and Pat do not show much, so Kinsley was a 4 year old who had never seen a show ring. After a tough spring acclimating to her new digs just after kidding, we didn't push her to show and she has been milking her heart out ever since. Since May Kinsley has gained so much weight, confidence, and trust with us. We are just so dang proud of her and the vision Ashley saw in her.

Kinsley has been worth the wait, and the fact her face matches identical to her grandma Citronella has everyone smitten with her on the farm.

What a day. More updates to come 💯

This past weekend we attended (and Ashley helped run) the WDGA Badger Classic in Beaver Dam, Wi! We had a stellar weekend with our herd placing very consistently at the top of their classes, and our very first home bred Lamancha A-K Acres Heartbreaker AJ going Grand Champion and Best Jr Doe in Show under judge Todd Biddle! There was just about 410 head at this show, so definitely a huge validation what we see and breed for is taking us in the right direction!

We can't begin to describe what this means to us, and how excited our sweet girl Annie was (she won a stainless bucket filled with goodies and is still hauling it around the house!)

Large thanks to Julie Matthys for entrusting us with some lovely genetics and support to reach this amazing milestone!

AJ's sire is casein A/A, so there should be fun in this line as we are testing out Lamancha crew in 2025/2026! A fun AI is planned for AJ this fall, to inquire about info on AJ feel free to send us a message 🙂 We love her promise and potential, she has size, brains, and beauty 🙌

Doing some post kidding fringe trim and buzzing some mullets and cowlicks of hair off for greater ease in the milk stand.

Grand Finale- aka "Allie" was less than impressed with our plans, but she impressed us having triplet 8-9 lb kiddos just over 6 weeks ago and coming out this strong! We really have been focusing on body condition and hitting it right because she is such a long bodied doe! Safe to say she is very loved around here, even by Ashley who says white goats aren't a favorite 🥰😂

The biggest lesson in goats is to drive the distance for what you want. If the genetics are worth it, then distance can be figured out. This last weekend we had 5 states (including Wi) under our belt to bring this girl home to our farm. We are thankful to Megan Lawrence with Jen-Mae-Ka Kids for sending this pretty girl to Wisconsin and being so great to work with. Also, major shout out to our half way stop with our sweet friend Becky Fidder in IA! Amazing friends and supportive breeders are the best 😁

Entering 2025 goating era feeling more prepared. Lamanchas (no ears to tattoo for identification for non-goat friends) necessitated this change so we can have easy scan and identification! For just over $6.50/goat, I will gladly take this upgrade! We rarely have ever had a tattoo failure here, but here on out we don't ever need to worry....and can have fast scan and go 🙌

Buck Kid Available!

We have been keeping some special kids up our sleeve! This lamancha buckling is going to be a fun one, stacked pedigree with Mint*Leaf on both sides. If you have seen the dam of this kid on the show circuit, she is pretty flashy and we are very excited for her future!

Born first week of March, this guy is READY to go! Strict CAE, CL, and Johnes prevention- and tested negative herd annually. Dam is a pending champion once ADGA catches up paperwork too!

🎆 This guy boasts a long dairy frame and strong bone. Nice wide rump, angular throughout, and lovely feet and legs. Dam milks strong, but not on official test. Averaging around 10 lbs a day prior lactation as a 2 year old first freshener, she has only improved into this year! This kid will come registered, microchipped, and ready to go! 5️⃣ 5️⃣ 0️⃣

Update: Sold Pending Pickup

Lamancha Buck kid available- located near Madison, Wi. This is a purebred Lamancha buckling born early March. He is not well photographed here, we can get a better photo upon request. However, we believe proof is in the relatives shown and you can be assured this guy has all the bone and strength shown in his dam and paternal grand dam shown here. When Ashley let the kids get their own breed, she trailed close and found these genetics to be consistent, oozing general appearance and dairy strength....and the length of bone is beyond what we ever expected!

CAE, Johnes, and CL negative herd- raised on strict management and this guy is on the ni**le pail drinking tons of milk, towering over all the kids in his pen. All kids offered from our farm come microchipped in 2025***

Kidding season has come and we are all done, now just enjoying babies and getting them on the ni**le pail for easy feeding! 👏 We did one continuous week and kidded nearly everyone in at the same time in early March.

We will have a Toggenburg doeling or two available, and two very nice lamancha bucks! If you are looking, send me a message- or check back this week when we start posting!

Here is the youngest member of our crew making sure these babies get all the snuggles and pets!
