It’s been a while since our last post. Every year at the start of market season, I have grand plans to stay on top of social media—even during the busy weeks. As you can see, that plan has gone about as well as expected over the last three weeks. 🫤

Around here, it’s been a nonstop cycle of seeding, planting, weeding, harvesting, cleaning, and farmers markets… then doing it all over again.

The good news? The fields are producing some beautiful things. Tomatoes are finally starting to show up, the strawberries are still looking gorgeous, our onion fields are some of the best we’ve had, and new potatoes and green beans are right around the corner.

We may not always be posting, but we are showing up in all the other ways that matter—putting in the work, growing great food, and getting it to your tables.

Come see us at the farmers markets in Sedalia (Tuesdays and Fridays) or Columbia (Saturdays), or better yet, join our CSA and enjoy a box of these beauties every week. 🌱🍅🥔🥕🫜

It’s that time of year!!!

We have about 36 quarts of strawberries harvested today.

We also have fresh tender asparagus and head lettuce (romaine, green curly, red curly, butter type)

As always everything is grown here on our farm and harvested by us.

Quart strawberries $8
Asparagus 1lb $7

You’re welcome to pickup at the farm tomorrow between 10am and 3pm or we can meet at 430pm in Marshall.

YOU MUST reach out to reserve yours. These sell out fast, and we don’t want to disappoint anyone if they drive out to the farm without reserving theirs first, only to find we are sold out.

Our onions are officially settled in and showing off— taking root and turning nice and green.

Next on the to-do list: cultivation… just as soon as Mother Nature stops watering them for us. At this point, she’s running the irrigation schedule and not taking feedback from us farmers. 😬
