We are a small family farm located about 1 1/2 hrs north of Richmond, VA raising Dexter and Lowline cattle the old-fashioned way, the way we want our kids to be fed...meaning we use no growth hormones, no steroids, no feed antibiotics.

We are preparing for a big snowstorm this weekend. Local weatherman says “stay inside, frigid temps, historic snowfall, blizzard conditions.”

Farmers, ranchers, livestock families everywhere…
hear something different.

They hear feed time.
They hear frozen water to bust.
They hear stalls to bed, calves to check, gates to latch, and animals counting on them.

Because storms don’t pause responsibility.
And livestock doesn’t care what the forecast says.

While the world hunkers down, they layer up.
While roads close, chores still call.
While the wind howls, they show up anyway.

Stay safe out there, friends.
