Spring is so welcome here on the farm! We have had quite a few babies heading to new pastures and we will miss them, but we also know the fun and joy they will bring to their new owners!
We will have meat rabbits available again this summer, and we are happy to announce with the addition of new layer hens, Jen's Hens farm fresh eggs are available, starting this Saturday! Only $5 a dozen, or 7 for 18-packs. Get them while they last, because we always sell out! See you Saturday, April 11th, from 10am to 2pm, here at the farm!

We have a few goats for sale, Nigerian dwarf and mini nubians. Both bucks and does are available. My pretty doe, tri-colored, very friendly, bottle raised, 8 months old, is available. She's about 80/20 NDG/Nubian and perfect for starting goats on your homestead. We'd love to keep her, but we need to downsize. Michigan, 49068. We can deliver within 1 hour of the farm. As a differently-abled farmHer, this is how I set up my chicken run. Minimal work to keep them happy!
The water barrel is on the outside, for easy filling, which only has to be done about 2x a week, and the food barrel has 4 "spouts" that keep feed clean and dry. I fill this less than 1x a week, and then sprinkle scraps and scratch out for them to peck and scratch. They have a tunnel to the coop, which has their laying nests and lots of shade, as well as protection from most predators. The coop also has outside access to the eggs, and perching areas. Clean-out of the coop is about 1x a week, adding fresh straw and scraping out poos, which is a pretty quick chore and keeps 99% of the eggs clean and dry when laid. Chickens are resting in the shade, it's still hot! here in Michigan, late September! 🥵
