Long bone tomahawk ribeyes with garlic and rosemary from Burner’s Beef just hit the case. Only a few left for this weekend but…we have T-bones, porterhouse, bone in ribeyes, chops, chickens, sausages, burgers, kabobs and much much more for Dad this weekend.

Long before she became a butcher in her own right, our Amanda grew up as the only daughter of an avid hunter, learning early to respect the animal and where her food came from. This one's for the dads who shaped us.

Hey yinz , we took this pic at Virginia spine institute. I am 3 months recovering from a pretty big spine surgery . I got a disc replacement at L5/S1. Many you know I struggled for the last 8 years with a severely torn disc that I tried everything to fix but it tore and re herniated again right before Valentine’s Day and I was in surgery March 3. While the disc is now solid and iam free to start PT to get back to living , it’s been incredibly hard with intense nerve pain that only now is starting to pull back . I’m in physical rehab until August 1 and plan to return to where you can actually see me on Labor Day . I’m very excited for the future.

I am very sorry I wasn’t able to get the alpha gal foods out like I wanted to but unfortunately life has a plan for us that we aren’t aware of sometimes . So my plan is for something really cool when I get back to it .

Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Amanda and my family for all the support and all the staff at the ox who in mine and sometimes Amanda’s absence, has really made it easy for me to rest and recover as needed . I’ll be in and out of the shop and hopefully setting up the grilling station so I can see all my favorite people. This has definitely been the hardest physical and mental journey I have had . Anyway love you all and I am alive and almost soon to be better than new . 💪❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
