Tumblers are available in the webshop in every colorway. I've taken years to make this form just right, and with each one being handmade, they all have their own unique character. I love to mix and match the colors in my own kitchen. All colorways have a matte exterior and gloss interior glaze for a soft hand feel and easy to wipe clean interior. With over 26 years throwing pottery, these pieces come with a lot of practice and refined skill. Sign up tor newsletters on my website to stay up to date with product restock and new offering. Happy Mothers Day to the world's best Mama and Gigi. Thank you for always being there for me, for giving your everything to support me and my sibs through every trial and every adventure and every mishap. Thank you for teaching us to always try, to DIY, to stay positive, and most importantly, that there is a song lyric to apply to every situation in life. You have done so much in bringing us up and done it on your own and never asked for anything in return. We love you to the moon Mama πŸŒ™ ❀️✌🏽

Another weaving wrapped ☺️ The khaki color in this piece is from last week's usnea dyepot. Pinks from avocado pits and blue from my indigo vat. The sliver in this piece is all ! And all the rest from the ewe herd. I'll mount it on a special piece of wood from my home town and from a place I used to ride my bikes w friends. A place that used to be an abandon of overgrown vegetation, old slab foundations, ruins of industrial structures, and a playground for hooligans.

Rue! I have every intention of shearing this girl first every time I corral them up, but she charges at me like a ram when i try to catch her, and after a few attempts, I give up and pick someone else. But not today! After a good 15 minutes of ring around the barn, I caught her in a flying leap. She just dropped to the floor in a puddle, and I had to drag her dead weight to the shearing blanket (not so great for the fleece) πŸ˜…. For some background, Rue was rejected by her mother at birth and hand raised by me, living in our home for the first few weeks of life and then moving out to the barn. She is quite spoiled and used to getting her way. I call her a drama queen, but really, she's just a boss b*tch and I have to really buck up if I want to get any cooperation from this one. Anyway, her wool is lovely, deep chocolate, black, silver, and blue. Now I need to go ice my knees and soak in some Epsom salts ✌🏽❀️

Hi πŸ‘‹πŸ½ I am Jessica Sanchez, the owner operator and sole employee here at Rusted EARTH. I care for my sheep herd (feeding, water, shearing, hoof trimming, pasture rotating, ect) and care for our land (planting trees, seeding pastures, spreading compost, fixing fences, cutting trees, ect). I process, spin and dye the wool from my herd. I Weave custom fiber art pieces and create functional pottery wares. I work occasionally with my husband designing beautiful outdoor spaces. I have an amazing partner in life without whom none of this would be possible. Our biggest priority is spending quality time together as a family. I am mom to the sweetest little toddler who loves living, exploring, and working on our beautiful little farm. I'm so grateful everyday for the work that I do and the life that we have. I appreciate all the support and community this platform provides, so thank you for following along ❀️
