Spring Valley Farm

Spring Valley Farm Located South of Marshalltown just off of Reed Ave (Hwy 14) on 255th Street. Eggs available at the stand in the cooler.

We will have stand set up by the driveway at the house on the corner of 255th NOT at the schoolhouse where it was previously.

If you are wanting to can reach out with how many pounds you are wanting. Regular tomatoes definitely won’t be a problem on getting you a good amount. Romas aren’t as many but we have some that we could go out if there is a need for more than we have at the stand.

We are working on restocking the stand with everything. Picked the tomatoes yesterday and this morning and got some fresh peppers added. Unfortunately the first planting of cucumbers didn’t do well and the 2nd planting is still growing. We will update when those are ready.

I will be adding cherry tomatoes tomorrow. Sorry it got too warm by the time we got the regulars picked to pick the cherry tomatoes (they start splitting in the heat when picked) so I’ll get those in the morning and have them stocked up tomorrow.

Corn is done thank you for those that came out and got some.

New signs that is after a few days of custom decorating them hot pink. Took a few days to complete the signs since we do them here. Sorry for the wait!

Hopefully these don't get taken.

We added 3 new helpers a couple of weeks ago. Meet Willie, Waylon and Hank.

Duke, Daisy, Ricky, Lucy, Bonnie and Clyde aren’t sure what to think of their new little brothers.

I’ve also been busy hatching call ducklings to add to the farm and our offering of animals.

We are busy in the garden but still love taking those moments with our babies to cool off and relax a bit.

The stand is open daily until early evening with honor Box system. Rain or shine, you can shop in a cover canopy.

We also have Eggs available in the cooler at the stand.

We have canners. Tomatoes grown right here and picked yesterday. We are going through our list of those that already requested them, but may be able to still fill what you may want this week for canning, or BLTS!

Who are we to judge!🤣

Romas still need to get ripe. Or if you want tomatoes that will be ripe by next weekend for canning, we have some.
