Pony rides, balloon animals and dye-free candy THIS Friday, from 4-8pm for the dye-free Trunk or Treat at Elm Farm.

We’ll also have a bonfire, live music hot cocoa, local apple c***r, farm to flame BBQ from Burning Barn food truck and tamales from El Rincon.

Calling local talent! UPDATE: balloon artist covered!

We are hosting an event on October 30 from 4-8pm and are looking for

• musicians (flat rate pay + tips + advertisement leading up to the event)

Volunteer positions (2 hour slots, choice of take-home gift) (pay for previous experience considered)

• popcorn maker
• cotton candy maker
• balloon artist - Hired!
• parking director

This is an especially good fit for young people who are interested in new experiences with on-the-spot training in interacting with a crowd, and retired moms who enjoy an opportunity to interact with kids again.

Tomorrow, come learn how to homemake gifts for Christmas this year.

Class starts at 10am at Elm Farm in Marshfield. Katie Langenberg will be teaching how to make soap from start to finish. Materials provided, just bring yourself, an apron and a friend to learn with.

$80 per seat for instructions and supplies. No prior experience needed.

What do you get in class this Saturday? All this, and 3 recipes for getting started making your own handcrafted soaps at home. Most other items you would need can be found in your kitchen, if not, Katie Langenberg has a resource list for you. Come watch, learn, cut a bar, and enjoy some pastries and coffee. Class fee $80, time: 10am-12:30. See you at Elm.
