Looking for something active to add to your homeschool week this fall?

We’re hosting Family Ultimate at Elm Farm for six Tuesday nights this September and October. It’s designed for homeschool families, and the whole idea is simple: parents play, kids play.

You don’t need to be athletic and you don’t need to know how to play ultimate already. We want it to feel like a relaxed evening on the farm — learn the game, run around, make some friends, and finish the night outside as the sun goes down.

Late summer at Elm is for flowers + seeds. 🌿

This Thursday night, come make a bouquet to take home and learn seed saving with Anna using the flowers that have finished blooming in the field. She’ll show us how to tell when a flower is ready for seed saving, where the seeds are hiding, and how to store them safely for next year.

You’ll leave with a jar full of Elm flowers, a packet of cut flower seeds you saved yourself, and a skill you can take straight back to your own garden.

We’ll have refreshments to share while we spend the evening around the flower table together.

This Thursday is one of the free ones. 🌻

From 9:30–11:30 Thursday morning, Elm Farm is open for our community flower morning.

Come drink coffee. Bring the kids. Meet someone new. Wander out to the flowers with us and see what needs doing on the farm that morning.

Some weeks there are buckets of flowers to strip and sort. Some weeks we’re harvesting. Some weeks there’s a field that needs attention before it can become the next bucket of blooms.

That’s the point, you don’t need to know anything about flower farming, and you definitely don’t need to come with a group already assembled. Come Flower Farm With Us is meant to be a place where community can naturally form.

Children are welcome, coffee is on us, and there’s no admission charge.

These are the flowers sitting in the conference room at Elm right now!

Tonight from 6:30–8:30, come in, choose the blooms you love, build yourself a bouquet, wrap it up, and take it home.

$25 per bouquet (cash or PayPal). There’s no class start time and no reservation needed. Come whenever you want during the evening and stay as long or as little as you’d like. Anna will be available to teach you her special florist spiral wrapping.

Cold brew will be ready, too.

If you’ve been meaning to come visit the farm, this is a very easy night to do it. Bring a friend and just show up.
