It’s the time of year for change, and we are so sad, but so PROUD to say see you soon to a few amazing seniors!!

Isabel 🌻

Isabel joined CAE as a working student, and quickly became a core member of our barn family. A talented and kind rider, a superb role model, and a dedicated horse woman, Isabel is a true example of the core values we hold at the farm. She always has a smile on her face, is incredibly patient with our young ponies, and knows the ins and outs of all it takes to horse show.

Isabel is heading to the University of Rhode Island to study Business.

Avery 🌺

Avery started out at CAE as a walk-trot rider, and over the years has became a fantastic equestrian. Dedicated and disciplined, she has put in all the hard work to excel on the flat and over fences. Avery in the ring is a joy to work with, but Avery in the barn is a dream. Hard working, detail oriented, and passionate about horse care, Avery has been a dedicated working student for many years. Her greatest strength, however, is with young riders. A pillar of our summer horsemanship program, Avery has inspired many young horse enthusiasts and has taught many what it takes to care for them.

Avery is attending Bridgewater State University to study Biology.

Brooke 🪻

The last of the Kelly kids, it is certainly going to be strange not seeing our Brookie around the farm. From the days of crawling around after Luvbug and Duke, to bombing around the brand new indoor on baby Pip, to now showing and jumping and chasing her dreams to the highest level, we cannot be more proud, or in awe of all Brooke has accomplished. Quiet in the barn, she is a studious, dedicated and passionate rider who values correct riding, and is always looking to learn. Expanding beyond the breath of CAE and learning from some amazing trainers who have helped her in her journey, Brooke is a well rounded, talented, and stunning equestrian.

Brooke is attending the University of Tampa

The first time Taegan got no ribbons at a show this year, she cried.

The second time, she was visibly upset. For consolation, she got a snow cone.

By the third time, her expectations changed and she started focusing on her own personal goals. She learned how to show up for her pony and instead of chasing the ribbons, learned what it felt like to compete against herself. All season, she did not earn a single ribbon in class sizes of 35-40… but difference the rider she was in January vs April was already huge.

At 8 years old, she marched into the Rolex stadium against 116 other riders with a smile on her face, left with a bigger one, and hugged her pony like they just won it all.

Not for the ribbons, but for the love of her pony. That’s a win bigger than any ribbon 🤍
