Backwoods Family Farm Backwoods Family Farm was created by the Hinson family after months of dreaming and praying in early 2020.

Our main goal in opening our store is to be able to supply our friends and neighbors with quality meat and produce, from our farm to your table.

Plan to come out this Saturday 10/17 for a fun day at the farm!
Take a hay ride to the pumpkin patch, pick your favorite pumpkin, & see who can chunk a pumpkin the farthest. It’s supposed to feel like Fall this weekend so take advantage of the temperature and come out and do all the fall things!

PSA: we have coonhounds! While we understand people do not like to see a dog “wandering” around, our dogs know where they are; they are home!
They know our property, have their routines of where they travel, and know how to get back for supper.
If you happen to see one of our black & tan coonhounds or Rhodesian Ridgeback, please let them be. If you feel they are in immediate danger feel free to check their collar & call us (they all have our personal cell numbers on them), call the store, or stop by and let us know where you saw them. As hunting dogs it is not ideal or safe for them (or you) to learn to come up to every person/ vehicle they see.
They are only out when we are home, working around the farm, and usually not too far away from them.
