LESS IS MORE. QUALITY OVER QUANTITY.

We know we cannot compete with the quantity of commodity beef—and that’s not what we’re trying to do.

When cattle are grown to larger weights, there is simply more meat to sell, which can allow producers to offer a lower price per pound.

Our goal is different.

At Travers Cattle Company, we choose to process our young, grass-fed, home-raised cattle at around 600 pounds. It means we produce less beef from each animal, but we believe there is value in being intentional about how our beef is raised and when it is processed.

We aren't trying to put the most pounds of beef in the freezer.

We're trying to put the RIGHT beef in your freezer.
