Gana farms is located just 15 minutes south of Interstate 80 and the capital city-Lincoln in the great beef state of Nebraska. Our cow herd consists of around 50 head of registered Shorthorns, 8-10 of which are Donor cows. We continually add females from some of the top programs across the US. Our cattle have been successful in many breeding programs, AI sire programs, shows and sales for ourselves and our customers. We typically exhibit locally, as well as at the NAILE and Denver. More recently we have added around 150 registered Angus cows, most have come from 3 respected , progressive and prominent herds. Wagonhammer Ranches in Nebraska and Benoit and Molitor herds in Kansas. These cows were hand selected to fit our program with our goals in mind. We utilize an extensive AI and Embryo Transplant program. The use of sexed female semen on most of our cows and heifers, helps obtain our attempt at a 75% female calf crop each year. Our goal here at Gana Farms is to produce top quality seedstock that are of foundation quality, that will be profitable and will work in any segment of the beef industry. We market our cattle through 2 annual sales held here at the headquarters. The Foundation Female Sale held in December and the No Bull Sale held in March. Attention to maternal traits, fertility, performance and fleshing ability coupled with the use of proven sires, help to attain our goals to produce a consistant and reliable product for ourselves and more importantly our customers. We are always here to help,
